Daydream mode
Aceasta functie a fost introdusa inca de prin 2012, o data cu versiunea 4.2 .
Este un screensaver care se activeaza doar in anumite situatii, mai exact in timpul incarcarii sau dock-arii telefonului sau tabletei. Asta permite ca in loc de obisnuitul ecran negru sa putem vizualiza fotografii din memoria dispozitivului sau sa putem sti cat e ora in orice moment fara sa mai trebuiasca sa butonam telefonul sau tableta.
Functia asta nu este activata implicit. Penru a o gasi e nevoie sa mergi in setarile telefonului si sa urmezi pasii Settings/Display/Daydream
Orice telefon care are o versiune de Android mai mare de 4.2 are aceasta functie in meniu.
Cateva exemple de telefoane populare pe care poti sa gasesti functia daydream sunt HTC One, Nexus7, Samsung Galaxy S4.
O data activat acest mod, vei gasi doar un numar mic de aplicatii in sectiunea daydream a telefonului tau.
Exista aplicatii care functioneaza doar in modul daydream.
Din fericire exista Google Play de unde poti sa alegi si altele pe care le consideri utile, cum ar fi Flipboard, Curents, AppyGeek.

Indiferent de versiunea Android putem gasi easter egg navigand in meniul setari dupa cum urmeaza Settings/About Phone/Firmware version (numarul versiunii sistemului de operare) O data ajuns in sectiunea mentionata trebuie sa atingem rapid de cateva ori numarul versiunii Android pana se afisaza acel easter egg in functie de versiunea instalata
Fiecare versiune are propriul easter egg care e mai mult pentru amuzament fara sa aiba o utilitate practica.

Prima oara apare un litera K pe care trebuie tinut degetul cateva secunde pentru a se afisa logo Androi KitKat. Daca tinem degetul cateva secunde pe logo se va afisa o animatie compusa din patratele si dreptunghiuri divers colorate.

Introdus o data cu Android 4.4 KitKat
Daca pana la aparitia Android 4.4 se putea tipari de pe telefon prin intermediul aplicatiilor instalate ulterior, dupa versiunea KitKat a fost introdus suportul nativ in sistemul de operare. Astfel ca utilizatorul poate alege sa tipareasca ce are nevoie trimitand documentul catre orice imprimanta cu conexiune wi fi activa.
Daydream mode, easter egg, suport pentru tiparire nativa sunt doar cateva din chestiile mai putin cunoscute din sistemul Android.
